We are all fans of the Retractable Leash at Keep Um Safe, but there are manufacturer guidelines that come with your retractable leash and you should read those guidelines.

The Retractable Leash should always be treated with respect. It is not a device to allow your dog to aimlessly wonder while you chat on the cell phone. It is not a product for children. The same holds true for the Loop Safety System.

You should always be aware of your dog and have control of your Retractable Leash at all times. Only obedient and well controlled dogs should be allowed on a retractable leash.

When in social situations, keep your dog by your side, always ask if it is okay to let your dog meet another dog, and be considerate of others sharing the same space.

To Avoid Risk of Injury Please Follow These Guidelines:

THE LOOP SAFETY SYSTEM MUST NOT BE USED BY CHILDREN.

• THE LOOP SAFETY SYSTEM IS NOT TO BE USED WITH DOGS THAT ARE DISOBEDIENT OR UNCONTROLLABLE .

• Retract your leash, bring your dog to your side, and lock the retractable leash to a short fixed length before performing any task.

• The Loop Safety System is designed to momentarily assist you while using a retractable leash. This Product IS NOT A Primary Control Device.

• The Loop Safety System should be used for its intended purpose as a safety device for the retractable leash.

• The Loop Safety System Should Be Kept Out Of The Reach Of Children.

• Please realize that injury can occur if you are inattentive. If your retractable leash is not locked to a fixed length, your dog could run 15 to 20 feet to the end of the retractable leash length and cause wrist or arm injury.

• DO NOT USE MORE THAN ONE LOOP SAFETY SYSTEM AT ONE TIME.

• DO NOT USE THE LOOP SAFETY SYSTEM TO ATTACH YOUR DOG TO ANY FIXED OBJECT.

• DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT FOR ANYTHING EXCEPT ITS INTENDED PURPOSE: TO PROVIDE A SAFETY SYSTEM FOR THE RETRACTABLE LEASH.
